The 4th Annual Breed Sale @ the MSU Livestock Pavilion, was held on Halloween.
A total of ten animals were consigned, with nine sold, for a total of $2385.00. The highest-selling animal, a doe, sold for $400, while the over-all average price per head was $265.00.
Many thanks to everyone who participated in, and/or helped, with the sale; especially, Steve Hunt and Mick Sigafoose, who did a great job as auctioneers/commentators.
This year there were more people in the audience than in the previous 3-years. While many were "just looking", according to several comments heard throughout the day, it was still an encouraging sign to those of us at the sale. Next year, those folks may well come back next year, to buy the high-quality animals that our MBGA Members bring to the sale.
